 Hi! I am Isabelle! I am a language teacher as well as visual storytelling and Kamishibai passionate. Coming from Quebec, where the story tradition abounds - I studied literature by focusing on the epistolary and autobiographical genres while being a fervent theatre enthusiast. Being a teacher has led me to establish an empathetic environment for self-expression; explore creative didactic methods and pursue my interests in visual arts as ways for storytelling. Trained in Kamishibai and Digital Storytelling (DS) methods, I found in these two forms of storytelling ways to go beyond the mere work of language and stories. I believe in the storytelling power of images.
